1999 - 2006
Worked My Way Through College and Grad School
I have always loved working with people, and I decided that the best place for me to help others and use my people skills was in Counseling Psychology.
I got my bachelor's and master's degrees in counseling psychology. At the same time, I grew up in the nascent age of social media learning HTML and photo editing for Myspace and Facebook while getting on YouTube and making funny skits.
2006 - 2012
Worked in Youth Counseling
These years of working as a youth counselor I discovered that making videos with my groups was a great way to get them engaged in learning social skills while having a good time. I had to quickly find the tools and learn the skills to edit videos online. It also helped me embark on a long journey I have had being on YouTube.
2010 - NOW
Grew My Own Practice and Others'
In 2010 I set out starting my own private practice working with young men on the autistic spectrum. It was at this point that I realized I needed a website and I didn't have the funds to pay anyone. I decided to learn how to carve out my own marketing corner on the internet. When friends saw my website-- they were impressed and many asked me to make one for their company. Soon I was doing more website and online development than I was counseling.
